Briefly about us
Transer Bureau of Technical Translations began business in 2005 as a group of translators, all with different areas of expertise, and all with translation experience. We specialise in technical translations – many of our clients are Lithuanian and foreign, multinational companies. We translate user instructions of all levels of complexity, we engage in localisation projects and we translate large-volume texts in a very short turnaround time. It’s this kind of drive that motivates us to keep our skills up to date and sharpens our edge in the market.
Drawing Translation Department
In 2013 we launched our CAD Translation Department. This department focuses solely on the translation of written content included in drawings, blueprints, pictures, schemes and other specific technical documentation. Our CAD Translation Department works together with partner translation agencies from various countries across the globe that have a specific need for skills in CAD and image translation, but whose weakness is a lack of resources or know-how, which happens to be our strength! Transer Bureau is an effective task-specific setup able to provide exceptional skills in CAD translation.
We are aware that most translation agencies do translations in virtually every form, but few, if any, can provide a comprehensive and highly specialised CAD translation in both a timely and incredibly accurate manner.
At Transer Bureau we have invested heavily in specific software and we work only with highly qualified and experienced translators, proofreaders and editors. We also collaborate with engineers, IT specialists and other professionals in order to gain a better understanding of the specifics of certain technical documents and drawings. We work using all correct EU standards ensuring accurate and appropriate terminology.
We specialise in translations in many technical fields. The list below features the most common areas:
Engineering - electrical, chemical and mechanical
Structures, civil engineering
Vehicles, cars and trucks, heavy machinery
Computers, systems, networks, hardware, software
IT (information technologies) → more...
