Language combinations
Our attitude has always been that a translation should be carried out by a translator to whom the target language is native and who preferably lives in a country where that language is spoken. Only in this way can a translator be most aware of the style of language and other subtle nuances which could be missed and not rendered by a non-native translator. When we can't find such a professional, we give the text to a non-native translator whose work can then be given to a native editor for editing at an additional cost.
